What you may see
“Windows protected your PC”

Open the downloaded file
Find TagMyRun-Desktop-Windows.msi in your Downloads folder and double-click it. If your browser asks whether to keep the file, choose Keep.

A blue "Windows protected your PC" screen appears
Click "More info", then "Run anyway". Windows shows this for apps from small developers who are not yet registered with Microsoft — it is not a sign of a problem with the file.

Finish the installer
Follow the installer and click Yes if Windows asks to allow changes. TagMyRun then appears in your Start menu.

Paste your access key
Open TagMyRun, paste the key from your email, and pick a folder of race photos.
From version 1.0.6 the app updates itself, so you only go through this once.
Why the warning?
Windows and macOS show this for apps from small developers who are not yet registered with Microsoft or Apple. The installer comes straight from our official GitHub releases, and the app only reads and writes the photo folders you choose.
